Opportunity School is designed for students grades 6 - 12 who are not achieving academically and socially at their home school. Students are placed in the program voluntarily or per AUSD Student Support Services. Voluntary students are placed in the program as space permits for one semester. The purpose of the program is to allow the student a time-out from the traditional program and get them back on track to their home school. The program is a half-day education program with required homework.
